Open Call for Spielberg’s “West Side Story” Reboot

Upcoming Open Call to fill roles in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming reboot of “West Side Story” set to film in New York City.

Spielberg is developing a remake of the 1961 Robert Wise street-gang musical, with “Lincoln” and “Munich” screenwriter Tony Kushner penning the adaptation. Little else is known about the project, apart from a casting notice seeking talent for the roles of Maria, Anita, Bernardo and Tony.

Between 15 to 25 years old
Must be able to sing
Dance experience is a plus
