Casting Directors are looking for all types of talent to work in an ambitious independent film set to film in June. This is a great opportunity to earn experience working in a movie filming in Houston.

When mysterious VHS tapes showcasing their bleak future begin to appear, a newly engaged couple are forced to question their compatibility as they struggle to keep their relationship from unraveling.

Houston/Chicago based Gin & Tonic Films is having a casting call on for an independent feature film scheduled to shoot in the Houston area the first half of June 2018.

Characters Needed:

Jess: Mid-20s, is on the verge of being a little too old to still be a college undergrad. While some would find her indecisiveness to be childish, she is charming and witty. She is spontaneous and go with the flow- doing whatever feels right.

Tim: Late-20s, a work-from-home software engineer. Responsible. He is disciplined, playfully sarcastic, put together, proactive, and at times maddeningly particular. A natural planner, he has a life path that he intends to follow.

Jess’s Mother: 50’s, feisty and animated. She says what is on her mind.

Jess’s Father: 50’s, slightly dopey but good humored and laid back.

Nick: Jess and Tim’s next door neighbor. Late 20’s, friendly, charming, and personable. He is attracted to Jess.

Tracey: Tim’s ex-coworker. Late 20’s, established and put together. She is attracted to Tim. Roles are Unpaid (Food, footage, IMDB credit).
