Homeland is a famous TV series, which requires amputees for a scene that represents a VA hospital. Grant Wilfley Casting (GWC) is responsible for finding the required talent for the film. Both men and women are encouraged to apply for the position if they have amputated limbs. The selected talents will be required to work a rehabilitation scene in a gym in the presence of physiotherapists.
About the Show
Claire Danes is the main star in the series. She plays the role of a CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) officer named Carrie Mathison. The story revolves around Nicholas Brody, played by Damian Lewis. He is a former US Marine Corps Sniper and Carrie believes that Brody has turned sides as he was held as a captive by Al Qaeda and is now a threat to the United States.
This wonderful series premiered in 2011 and has gone through five successful seasons. It is now in its sixth season for which the current casting call is required. This season will premiere in January of 2017.
About the Role
The casting directors are looking for amputated individuals for the next season of Homeland which also stars Claire Danes. The people taking part in this casting call will be required to work of either August 18 or August 19 in New York. The interested candidates will need to ensure that they are available on the following dates.
The directors are seeking individuals who may either be union members or not, but should have the ability to play wounded veterans that are present in a rehabilitation gym. Interested candidates may belong to any ethnicity and the age is also not a factor. They must have a clear amputation though, which is the only requirement for these roles according to GWC.
The working days for this casting call are the next week’s Thursday and Saturday. The days however are subject to change due to the availability of the primary actors of the TV series.
