Auditions for ‘Cooks vs. Cons’

The directors of ‘Cooks vs. Cons’ ask both, amateurs and professional chefs to roll up the sleeves for the third season of the television show which has made its mark for its unique concept and idea. Two professionals and two amateur chefs compete in the show preparing the edibles as directed, and the judges decide based on the quality of the cuisines prepared.

The winning contestant, if a professional, gets a prize of $10,000; while if an amateur contestant wins, the prize money spikes up to $15,000.

The question arises whether an amateur cook can rise up to a level higher than that of professionals based on his/her culinary love? Or that the professional training and expertise beats all not allowing anything to stand in front of the vast experience and knowledge?

With secret ingredient thrown in the already unique mix, the judges ensure an unbiased judgment every time, making the audience glued to their screens for the exciting results. The blind tests, the ultimate faith in one’s abilities and the confidence of years of practice; all are present on one platform, crossing each other’s paths in the most scrumptious manners, keeping up the thrills of the show.

The Food network show is looking for the contestants for its next season.
